Who can benefit?

I provide Hypnotherapy sessions for individual clients of all ages, and for small groups, in order to increase their well-being, and enable them to live happier and more satisfying lives. You may be a busy professional, a home maker, a student, or work in a small business. You may feel under pressure, and be aware of the need to change, and importantly have the motivation to do something about it.

What does a hypnotherapy session involve?

I offer a free introductory session to explain the basics, as sometimes people are unsure and may feel a little nervous, especially if they have not experienced hypnotherapy before.
At the beginning of the first paid session, I outline the broad structure of the session. This will typically involve:
  • A short discussion about you and what you want to change
  • An explanation of the hypnosis process and the structure of the session
  • The hypnosis session itself
  • The use of a range of therapeutic techniques, approaches and suggestions based on your needs (not all of which need to use hypnosis)
  • In some cases clients may take home a voice recording of the session or additional techniques to use later

What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is a naturally occurring state of focussed attention, normally accompanied by feelings of deep relaxation. In hypnosis, you are not asleep, just in a different and more receptive state of awareness. You remain fully in control and fully aware. Your subconscious mind will be able to accept positive thoughts and ideas more easily..
